INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION
IASTM uses specifically designed stainless steel instruments to identify and treat areas of soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. Instruments are designed with specific edges, allowing for control over the invasiveness of the treatment. As the edge encounters adhesions within the tissue, it catches and pulls on them causing them to separate under tension.

This patient volunteered to share a video of their Electroacupuncture session: You can see how the muscle contraction is strong in some areas but weaker in others. MSEA can help to regulate & restore motor nerve response, providing better muscle strength & support of the spine & joints. It flushes calcium buildup out of tight (contracted) muscles by rapidly engaging calcium pumps within the muscle tissue. And, electrical stimulus causes the release of your body's own pain killers (endogenous opioids).
The end result? You can feel looser, have reduced pain and better muscle recruitment & range of motion.
